Weare Giffard Cricket Club
The Weare Giffard Cricket Club's 1st team play in the 2nd Division of the North Devon Cricket League.
The club also play in the mid-week Pub & Club League and friendlies against other village cricket clubs.
The club has a youth team structure which plays at under 13 and under 15 age levels.

Club News
The Annual Dinner Dance & awards was held at the Village Hall on Saturday 27th November. Mr Brian Gault presented the awards.
3 club members attended an umpires course organised by the Devon Cricket Association. All passed the qualifying test. Congratulations to Alan Hooper, Dave Curtis and Nigel Higley.
2011 season was completed with the league team finishing in 4th place of Division 2 NDCL.
The Pub & Club side came in 3rd place in their first season in the Pub & Club League.
Unfortuneatly a number of games were called off due to inclement weather.
