We really enjoyed the evening putting it on and hope you all had a great evening. With your help, from April's and September's quizzes,we have managed to raise just under £500.We have purchased a stage and we are now looking into buying lighting equipment. The next panto quiz will be April 2013.As you know we put on the Panto every 2 years so this year is the Revue so we are looking for acts to do a turn on Saturday1st Dec.A fun evening and all are welcome.
Park news
Repairs have been carried out to the swings in the park which were showing signs of wear. The equipment was installed in 2004. At the time we had lots of toddlers in the village, nearly all are teenagers now! Funding has been secured for a community notice board to be erected in the car park. It will be an attractive wooden rustic style, double sided structure with a roof, mounted on a plinth to keep it above the flood water. The ideal place to keep up with all the evenys in this busy village. Maggie Herman.
Jubilee photos.
A range of photos taken by Jo Simpson at Cleave farm celebration and by Margaret Lovett at the village hall celebration can now be seen in the left index under Gallery.
Flood Markers
There will be refurbishment of the flood markers throughout the village over the coming months. Please give your assistance with regard to clearing foliage etc at markers by your property.
