Every Thurs morning 10:30 - 12:00 - Coffee morning in the Village Hall. All welcome.
Sat May 19th - Nightwalk in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support & North Devon Hospice. Jenny Hedden will be walking in aid of this charity again this year. If you wish to sponsor Jenny please contact her direct or phone her on 01237 479594. All donations gratefully received.
Mon 4th June 8pm - Jubilee Beacon Bonfire at Cleave Farm.Free entry,ample parking,bar,BBQ,band & raffle. Follow one way system orange arrows up Park Hill & down past Footlands. Bonfire to be lit at about 10pm.Proceeds to Holy Trinity Church, Village Hall & Park.
Sat 28th July - Vlllage Fete. Advance notice of the village fete, further notices will appear regarding meetings, helpers & stalls etc.

Weare Giffard Church Clean-up 2011: I must congratulate the volunteers (too numerous to mention by name) for the excellent work that was carried out on 5th November. I understand some people had to be told to put down their tools and go home! The good weather hopefully made the task an enjoyable one. A big thank you to the Heddens for, once again supplying the trailer. In fact there was so much debris an extra trailer was provided by David Moore. I must also thank the ladies who managed to clean the church & provide refreshments for Sooo many people.On behalf of the Village, many thanks to you all! David Herman
